This the first post by Leobond in the begining of this new year 2011. Hope the kickoff has been smooth for all..:)...Today I share with you all a silly but very interesting topic : 'A GoodBye Mail '....
About 'Goodbye', someone has rightly said : “Why can't we get all the people together in the world that we really like and then just stay together? I guess that wouldn't work. Someone would leave. Someone always leaves. Then we would have to say good-bye. I hate good-byes. I know what I need. I need more hellos.”
Today, sitting in my new work location, when I got the first goodbye mail from a team member, I winked!!
Lot of changes have come in writing such goodbye mails from formal to witty , the journey of the subject lines for such mails has been very interesting.
A Goodbye mail used to be sent in the earlier days as a formal way of thanking people and we all agree that like letter writing courses, there still exists template for the same. But with changing time the style of writing has become more day to day conversation type mails -Subject liners like SEE U LATER/KALTI.COM are more in use..;). People used to start working with one company and get retired in the same , so leaving would be a highly emotional part for such a person, but with privatization being the BUZZ, MNC cullture creeping in 'See You Later ' has replaced the old subject lines of 'Adieu'. Some say, we only part to meet again and I agree to it, but there are many such farewell mails which leave mark on us and we remember them for their wit or the style. Offcourse, goodbye is a strong emotion and sometimes impacts a lot but a small experience of saying goodbye also matters...
The leobond feels that so many faces in and out of my life ,some will last ,some will be then and now but life is a series of 'Goodbyes and Hellos'...So its again time to say good bye and more in the next post...:):)

A) The first such post by my dearest frnd which is indeed short and sweet! usualy my dear frnd and i hav a liking for long posts! at least 1000 words! but whats important is not the quantity but the quality..and that is always present in a huge volume!
B) My dearest leobond cudnt hav agreed with u more on this that Life is actualy a series of goodbyes and hellos..sometimes we get to feel them.sometimes they happen without knowing..but such is the journey of life that after everything life does move on and makes us move on, whether with a pleasant goodye or a nasty one
C) Whatever my dearest leobond writes, i often find an echo of my own sentiments and emotions in it! so leobond keep posting..keep writing..reading your posts makes me realise how similar our hearts are!

Yes, about byes and hellos it is sometimes sweet and sometimes sour but thats life and it moves on...:)
